Hi friends :)

Today I just want to talk about the future. It is so easy to get tangled up in the past and dwell on the life we may have missed out on or where we would be now if life was still “normal.” What would my life have looked like if the Corona virus had not happened and messed up my plans? What would my life have looked like if my family had decided to stay in Alabama?

But I think what I (and maybe the rest of us) am missing is the reminder that everything is in God’s timing. Yesterday, I was reading Psalm 33 and verses 10-12 say “The Lord frustrates the counsel of the nations; He thwarts the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation. Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord - the people He has chosen to be His own possession!” I found such reassurance in these verses knowing that God’s plan for my life will never ever be shifted and it will forever and ever be a perfect plan.

Life is scary. The unknown is scary. But we can rest assured that God knows, and He has planned a life for each one of us that fits perfectly into His plan. He will put us exactly where we need to be and through asking Him in prayer, we will receive all of the tools we need to carry out His purpose for our lives. His will. His plan. His timing.

All the love,

     Caroline
